The InSPIRE teams consists of young Indian-Americans and, also, young Indians who live
in India. We have all spent significant time traveling, exploring, and serving in India.

The idea for InSPIRE blossomed over a period of time. While we were in Ahmedabad,
surrounded by Indians from abroad who were involved in various endeavors in India, we
really felt that there have been so many of us that have come to India to do various
things, and we’ve all really gained something valuable. The experience has helped us
understand ourselves better, and has also helped shape our worldview. It has helped us
figure out what we are really passionate about, and what we want to do with our lives.
It has given a glimpse of the incredible amount of potential within each of us.
We thought that we definitely want to be able to share this experience with as many people
as possible. And the young South Asian community in the U.S. are the people that we best
relate to, so why not start with them?
This is basically how InSPIRE was born.
