If your group or organization wants to understand and explore India more deeply, but you don’t fit within any of our current programs, InSPIRE can create a guided, customized journey to accommodate your specific needs.

InSPIRE specializes in short-duration, transformative immersion programs in India. Our coordinators have personal relationships with non-profit organizations, development sector leaders, business-people, and socially-engaged citizens in almost every state across India. We have also partnered with Indians for Collective Action, a secular non-profit organization with a wide network of partner organizations and over 40 years of active engagement in the social and development sectors.

The common elements running through every InSPIRE program are the values of We are not tour guides and do not run sight-seeing trips to historical monuments, temples, pilgrimage sites, etc. We are also not NGO tourists, or 'volun-tourists', simply interested in seeing the work that others do. Instead, we seek to 'be the change' we wish to see in the world by deepening our understanding and context for the interconnected issues that impact India and the world, while giving participants more tools to engage with those issues at whatever level and location they choose.
